Encouragement Packed into Brother EP

Album Art for Cyphers - Brothers EP

If recording an EP was a race, Cyphers out of Lebanon, NH, would definitely have a leg up on the competition, having recorded their first release in just one week! Brother EP is filled with four tracks that are a combination of alternative folk, rock, and heart. This collection wanders through examinations of faith and reflections upon God.

Brother EP kicks off with “It’s Not Over,” a song that encourages the listener to keep pressing on in faith and life despite being discouraged by circumstances and observations in life. “Call Me Out,” “Brother,” and “Wonder” reflect on various themes that “It’s Not Over” covers. Moving from upbeat into an acoustic finale of “Wonder,” venturing into worship territory.

Brother is a very satisfying EP. Right away it grabs the heart and addresses it in a way that is comforting and filling it with hope. Jon Cyphers is a skilled songwriter, and knows how to cut right to the core what he’s trying to convey and does it well. Cyphers is comprised of Jon Cyphers, Dan Drye, Matt Kersey, and Jeremiah Golden. Brothers was recorded by Clay Pyer and mixed and mastered by Jeremiah Golden.

Pick this EP up, even better yet, share it with someone who needs to hear this.
