Youth Packs it’s Bags for Life’s Journey

Album cover for Nicole Coley's Dear Life EP

While most 17 year olds are typically busy about thinking what they are going to be doing in the next phase of life, Nicole Coley is busy doing. Nicole is writing and singing songs with a strong foundation in scripture that sound like they could have been penned by Colbie Caillat, if Colbie was writing songs about living a Christian life. Dear Life, although short, is well developed lyrically, utilizing phrasing and rhyme schemes that mark a student of songwriting. Any singer songwriter would hope to start off writing songs as strong as Nicole is putting out.

Dear Life‘s four songs, “Stranger on the Earth,” “Masterpiece,” “Broken and Humbled,” and “Dear Life,” employ turn of phrases and a slight twang in Miss Coley’s vocals. Beautifully sang, produced and arranged in excellent fashion, this EP is a strong start to Nicole’s journey as an artist. While Nicole shows a very strong grasp in talent, there is a certain naivety in the subjects she is writing about, but with age, experience and growth in God, her writing should mature as she matures. In the meantime, this is a great EP for any young Christian or youth to listen to as they head off onto their next journey in life!

Nicole is actively performing around Chattanooga, TN area.

Keep your eye on Nicole Coley, she’s off to a good start.
