We bring another set of fine Christmas tunes from Youtube!

We start off with Warren Shepperd‘s “Oh Holy Night” from the album A Strange Way to Save the World. Warren’s deep baritone voice and classic approach in this album is a perfect throwback to an era that brings up memories of carols, gingerbread cookies, and bells ringing in the distance.

In the same vein, we slide into this newer gem, which is reminiscent of jazz tinged tunes from the 50’s. William Larson schools us on how to write a warm and friendly tune to both the believer and non believer alike. Larson is a retired pastor sharing his musical talents with the world.

In “A Christmas Song,” Alan Franklin delivers an original song in the style of old singer songwriters like James Taylor or Jim Croce. This homey version is beautiful and has a wonderful sentiment about the reason for the season!

Heading into some gospel, we’ve got an older recording, but nonetheless a great one. Israel and New Breed‘s Christmas medley is a worship filled worthy 9 minutes of praise and glory!

There are many many many versions of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” out there, and this version is orchestrated with some cinematic touches! Justin Rizzo works this up nicely, building into a wonderful finish!

Let’s head into some contemporary Christian music territory with Brandon Heath‘s “The Night Before Christmas.” A touch of country, a ballet of waltz, and strings lilt with the story of the birth of Christ.

Who can forgo a Sidewalk Prophets song? This tune is a contemporary balled in 6/8 time! Link it up!

If you haven’t seen this yet, get a glimpse of what Lauren Daigle is doing. It’s a lovely contemporary tune about the birth of Christ.

If you aren’t familiar with Theanthropos, you might want to become acquainted with their work. Full of modern dream pop sounds and lyrics that worship God, they are vibrant fun and exciting! This is their original Christmas song!

For good measure, we’ve included the timeless recording of Amy Grant‘s “Breath of Heaven.”
