Tread Upon the Heights with Thine Worship
In an effort to usher people towards abandoning themselves in worship of Jesus Christ before the throne of the eternal king, Ian and Lisa McGlynn have put together a debut trio of songs that do just that. They go under the name Thine Worship, pointing to the divine of who should be worshiped. Their debut is appropriately titled, Tread Upon the Heights.
This short EP is worthwhile to download for free from Noisetrade. The ballad esque, scripture based songs are faith filled and worthy of your private and public worship playlist. Similar in sound to that of Bethel, they are filled with ebb and flows of swaths of music, like billowing clouds in a large room filling it, and then with pastel colored lights flashing upon different sections in a large open light filled space. Thematically, “All Glory Is Yours” facilitates why we worship God, “Even If” proclaims why we should continue to worship in the face of tribulations and “Before the Mercy Seat,” is a full encounter with the goodness and grace of God in face of our flesh and doubt.
Do you want to increase your faith in worship? Meditate on these songs. Play them over and over and over again. Sing along with them. Look up scriptures that support these songs, for you will indeed be blessed.
Do not delay, download Tread Upon the Heights.
Thine Worship is based in New Jersey.
