What is Lost // Found exactly? It's an expertly mixed concoction of bubbles, slick soundscapes, screaming risers, and danceable beats that will have you jumping up in down in slow motion the awesomeness of Jesus. The production is equal to secular artists like Illenium, Said the Sky, Sound Remedy, etc. Lyrically, the songs explore themes that examine the state of man and the relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Jermaine Bollinger is asking that question with his newest release, Is Anybody Listening?. A full length album boasting 14 new tracks, once again showing his prowess as a studio musician, composer and engineer. The arrangements are pure pop rock, fun upbeat, filled with tons of delicious ear candy, some nice hooks and an overall feel good vibe. The pre released single, "You're Everything," captures everything that is good about the album. The beat is infectious and the bouncy rhythmic feel bring some much needed groove and fun into worship, something that TobyMac fans will appreciate. Point 5 makes an appearance on the track "Idols." This collaboration is a nice break from the album, bringing in some variation in tempo and feel. "Mallory" is likewise a beautiful ballad to Jermaine's wife. There's a clear love that comes through, and the emotion in Jermaine's voice is apparent, filled with devotion and care.

To some, it may seem like the process of creating music, or art, seems to happen magically or fall out of the sky, but with the new album from Brandon Bee, Songs From the Sky, this is clearly a labor of love and development. In briefly chatting with Brandon Bee about this album, while he spent just a few weeks in writing and production, this is the result of having produced around 300 different projects and playing almost 1000 live shows to date. When talent is this well honed, it would seems as if things fall out of the sky or magically appear, but is the result of perseverance, faith, and of the relationship between a man and his God.
