Today’s scripture reading is Psalm 39

Do you find yourself obsessed with things, people, or situations?

We can become so consumed by something that irks us for whatever reason, or compelled by beauty that we desire for our own, that it becomes an unhealthy obsession.

As you read through this Psalm, make it a prayer to God, letting go of the things that distract you from your relationship with Him. Our life time here is so short, we do not need to spend so much time wrapped up in things that do not have eternal value. Ask God to renew your eyesight and heart’s focus.
